Undersea Classroom Design Directions


                             Supplies:

                             -Tarp                                                 -Chalk

                             -Paint Roller                                    -Paint brushes

                             -Paint (Benjamin Moore)

                              Wall color-Miami Teal (656-2B)

                              Wavy lines-Neptune Green (658-3B)

                              Sand-Butternut Squash

 

1-Paint walls Miami Teal and let dry.

 -using chalk draw a wavy sand line on the bottom of the wall. Make it 12” – 18”,

  And paint in area. Let dry.

 

2-Draw a wavy chalk line approximately 2’-3’ from the bottom of the wall.

  -Using Neptune Green and paint in chalk drawn area.

 

3-Draw a wavy chalk line approximately 4’-5’ from the bottom of the wall.

  -Using Neptune Green and paint in chalk drawn area.

 

4-Draw a wavy chalk line approximately 5’-6’ from the bottom of the wall.

  -Using Neptune Green and paint in chalk drawn area.

                

                            LET PAINT DRY ATLEAST ONE WEEK!

 

5-Peel off larger mural decals and place on the wall, place it up gently so you can move the decal around. When you know that you love the mural decal placement go back and rub mural decal on

more firmly. Use a large damp sponge to rub out any air bubbles.

 

6-the next step would be to place the seaweed mural decals on the wall. Group the tall seaweed

together

 

7-In step 7 place the yellow fish decals on the wall. Remember to place them in a school. Dish love to

swim together in a group. Do not place them equally, offset them a bit and overlap them to create a

more natural look.

 

8-Add all the colorful tropical fish decals and sea shells to finish the mural.

 

***Tips

-Place larger mural decals closer and smaller mural decals a bit higher on the wall to create

perspective.

-If you have air bubbles in mural decals take a damp sponge and starting from the middle of the mural gently push air bubbles out of the sides of the mural.
